Di Farborgene Khalyastre are more than a group of people dedicated to memory…but in fact, to the life of our stories.

These projects are a reflection of Eastern European Bohemia and the incredible dark and big art, music and literature that came from Jewish communities in the early 20th century.

So much has been lost and buried, beneath bones, ashes and the departed, with a small group of inspired and excited minds dedicated to conjuring the ghosts.

We are entirely dependent on donations, the quality of the work is world class, and we are driven to keep the memory alive and inspire coming generations through Yiddish and Jewish cultural offerings.
